A brilliant stadium, watched by actual supporters, and a scintillating display by our guys.. One of our best games this year and we could have been winners by double digits. Terrific off-the-ball movement and intricate passing with explosive shooting. I must say that the move of the match was when prakash went past the whole midfield shifted to the right and sent in a swinging cross that i threw myself at.. but a great save by their goalkeeper. Could have been goal of the season.. sigh! but naresh is scoring goal of the season every game. Naresh captained the side on his birthday and nearly scored. the dinner after that was a real bonding session and a great get-together.. we should do it more often. Sara promised to come and didnt turn up, and as such will buy the drinks the next time! Enjoy the holidays all!

it was a game we were controlling comfortably, then things went heywire!! first the weather was like 36degress, we started the game with onl 10players, then first injury, made us 9, then became 10 after kajay came in, became 10 again after mani's injury.. but to win wih just 10men in sweltering heat was an achievement. kudos to all the players who managed to hold on despite an onslaught from the fit vietnamese...(just couldnt take the incessant talking!). I should have put away the clear opportunity, sorry guys. But a brilliant defensive display by kathir, gary, mani, naresh, kajay and selvam as well as sasi. welcome back ananth.. two well taken goals!
